"It's improving lives that really matter to me. It's why I've trekked through Antartica, jumped off tall buildings and climbed mountains - you'd have to be mad, otherwise"

Chairman of the Iceland Foods Charitable Foundation

All 900 of our stores throw themselves into Iceland Charity Week, supporting our annual charity and local causes

About Us

We've raised over £20 million for many fantastic causes...
through the Iceland Foods Charitable Foundation (IFCF).

What does IFCF do?

Our mission is simple and clear; we want to make life better for people. That's why we raise money (and awareness) for good causes. We're independent from Iceland, and we don't do it for publicity - we do it because it's the right thing to do. And because it's really good fun!

Where does the money come from?

It comes from our incredible colleagues' fundraising efforts, all the way from our most senior executives to every single one of our 900 stores - plus, of course, our amazing customers.

Where does the money go?

Every year, we choose to benefit a significant charity. Since 2011, we've focused heavily on dementia research. In addition, since we believe in local communities, we also support causes nominated by store colleagues.

The Iceland Foods Charitable Foundation raises and donates some £5 million each year. We focus on supporting UK dementia charities and all funding for the current financial year is already fully committed.

We regret that we are therefore unable to consider requests for support from other good causes.
